Your Show
Got an idea for a regular radio show on ORANGE 94.0 and want to get on air? Submit your proposal – we’re excited to hear from you!
Submit your show proposal
To apply for your own radio series, please send us a show proposal. Your submission consists of two parts: a show concept and a pilot episode.
Using our show concept template, you can develop your idea in a clear and structured way. In addition, you produce a pilot episode that makes your idea audible. The pilot episode is a sample edition of your planned radio series.
Don’t worry: technical perfection is not required. You are welcome to use our equipment and pre-production studio for the recording.

Tip: Basic course – your introduction to radio-making
If you have no experience in audio production, we strongly recommend attending the basic course [link] first. There you will learn everything you need to know to make radio programmes.
Taking part in the basic course, including media law training, is a requirement for going on air with your radio series on ORANGE 94.0.
Decision & next steps
Your submission will be reviewed by our programme committee [link], which is made up of experienced radio producers. The committee checks whether your concept complies with the ORANGE 94.0 guidelines [link], which form our shared basis for making radio.
Further foundations of our programme work include:
The programming mandate of ORANGE 94.0 is particularly aimed at social, cultural and ethnic minorities. Free radio stations stand for an open, democratic and solidaristic ethos. Discriminatory content, as well as individuals and groups who advocate such content, are excluded from programme production. As a radio station, we are committed to upholding journalistic due diligence.
The programme committee also uses these principles when listening to your pilot episode. You will receive feedback with tips and suggestions on your submission.
If your concept is accepted, the programme coordinator will contact you to discuss the next steps.
Before your radio series goes on air, you will sign a broadcasting agreement. This is a contract between you and ORANGE 94.0. A completed basic course including media law training is required.
