Mischa G. Hendel is an independent creative professional and trainer specializing in all things audio: radio, podcasting, and media literacy. He initially gained experience as a technical draftsman and office administrator before studying African Studies at the University of Vienna. He completed his diploma in African Studies in 2006 and earned a PhD in Philosophy in 2011. He directed and produced the documentary film “Literary Voices of Equatorial Guinea.”
From 2013 to 2014, he worked as a social worker for unaccompanied minor refugees at the initial reception center in Traiskirchen. From 2014 to 2019, he was a trainer at the cultural workshop within spacelab, a youth project of Volkshilfe Vienna, leading projects in theater, film, photography, literature, and radio. Since 2008, he has been active as an editor and contributor at ORANGE 94.0, including programs such as Sweetspot, Sweet Travels, and Radio AugartenStadt.
