On Stadtradio Orange, all residents of Vienna can quickly broadcast their radio reports. The reports are displayed on an online city map and can be listened to again. Piece by piece, a multifaceted picture of Vienna emerges.

TOPIC: FLIGHT AND MIGRATION

The focus is on "migration and flight." People whose native language is not German are especially welcome to participate. Radio ORANGE 94.0 speaks all languages. Contributions can be made using your smartphone. We call this "mobile reporting" and also offer free workshops. All residents of Vienna—whether long-time residents or new to the city—and initiatives are invited to participate!

At Stadtradio Orange, you can become a media producer yourself. What moves you? What's happening in your community? Making a radio report is as easy as posting on Facebook or writing a WhatsApp message. Your smartphone is your microphone! Upload your MP3 file to Stadtradio Orange. We accept sounds, interviews, surveys, texts, poems, conversations, everyday and artistic stuff, and anything else you can think of!

THE IDEA: Why all this?

At Radio ORANGE 94.0, we want to make radio accessible to as many people as possible. We collect voices from around the city and bring them on air. The topics of migration, displacement, and multilingualism are important to us, which is why we want to promote this content in particular. We don't want to talk about people; we want to let them speak for themselves.
