Globale Dialoge

Development Policy and Intercultural Issues

The radio show Globale Dialoge focuses on development policy and intercultural issues. It is a media project by ORANGE 94.0 in cooperation with the magazine Frauensolidarität.

Since 2005, every Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m., the station has broadcast reports on the work of international women's movements, women's cultural creativity, feminist activism, and the realities of life for migrant women. The contributions are produced by the editorial group “Women on Air.” Women radio producers, experts, and interview partners create the programmes in the form of reports on current events, interviews, or live broadcasts with studio guests.

In 2024 and 2025, Women on Air focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and gender equality to ensure and strengthen the media presence and public awareness of women's and gender development issues. In light of the current crises of gender-based violence and gender inequality, which are on the rise globally, especially in private life, the Women on Air editorial team must present women-specific North/South issues in public discourse, the media, and development policy.

You can listen to the "Best Contributions" from the past years.

"Women on Air" is always looking for new editors who are female*, feminist, and radio-savvy. Experienced radio producers connect with new radio producers (mentees) to create joint programmes for "Women on Air."
