Accessability
We want to make ORANGE 94.0 as accessible and inclusive as possible. On this page, you will find information about how to access our building and how we support people with different needs.
Access to our building
Our studios are located on the ground floor and can be entered without stairs. The entrance, seminar room, and live studio are accessible for wheelchair users. The pre-production studio can also be used with a wheelchair, but the mixing desk in that room is not fully accessible.
Our toilets are not wheelchair accessible. However, there is an accessible toilet nearby at Gaußplatz, about 60 metres from our building. From our experience, this toilet is clean and well maintained. Trainers and office staff have the key. If you need access outside of office or training hours, please contact us in advance.
Support for People with Visual Impairments
We are improving our studios to better support people with visual impairments. We have started adding Braille labels to the mixing desk in the pre-production studio. The live studio does not yet have Braille labels.
On request, we offer radio workshops designed for people with visual impairments.
Support for People with Hearing Impairments
Our radio archive, the Cultural Broadcasting Archive (CBA), now offers the option to listen to programmes with subtitles. This feature will soon also be available directly in our online audio player.
